Y-Clip Sling Adapter or Y-Clip Full Length Sling: Which One Do You Need?

Most shooters thread Sling Steady straight onto their existing sling. If you would rather not, or you need a sling to start with, there are two Y-Clip options.

Y-Clip Sling Adapter: keep the sling you own

The Y-Clip Sling Adapter clips to your sling and connects the Sling Steady bag to it. It is the choice if you like your sling as it is and want to add the bag without re-threading anything.

  • Works with the sling you already own
  • Made in the USA
  • Patented, U.S. Patent No. 12,339,095

Y-Clip Full Length Sling: a complete sling for the bag

The Y-Clip Full Length Sling is a full-length sling that connects the Sling Steady bag to an AR-platform rifle. It is the choice if you are setting up a rifle from scratch or want a sling built around the bag.

  • Complete sling for the Sling Steady bag
  • Made in the USA
  • Patented, U.S. Patent No. 12,339,095

Quick guide

  • Have a sling you like? Thread the bag on directly, or use the Y-Clip Sling Adapter.
  • Need a sling for an AR-platform rifle? Y-Clip Full Length Sling.
  • No rear QD stud? Add the All Rifle Adapter.

Either way, the bag rides on the rifle, so there is no separate, heavier rear bag in your pack. The bag is sold separately with both Y-Clip items. Buy 2 or more items and you get 5% off automatically at checkout.
