Sling Steady ties into your rear QD point or sling swivel. Plenty of rifles do not have a rear QD stud, though, especially older hunting rifles and some sporting stocks. That is what the All Rifle Adapter is for.

What it is
The All Rifle Adapter is nylon webbing with a hook-and-loop strap. It wraps the stock and gives the Sling Steady bag a rear attachment point, so the bag sits where the toe of the stock will land.
Left hand or right hand?
The adapter comes in two versions, so the bag sits on the side of the rifle you need. Choose the one that matches how you shoot:
Fitting it
- With the rifle unloaded and pointed in a safe direction, wrap the adapter around the stock near the rear sling position.
- Close the hook-and-loop strap snug, so it cannot slide.
- Attach your sling and Sling Steady bag to the adapter as you would to a QD point.
- Get into position and check that the toe of the stock lands on the bag.
The adapter adds almost nothing to the weight you carry, and it fits with no tools. Each adapter is made in the USA and ships in a 9" × 4" × 1.5" pack. The Sling Steady bag is sold separately: shop bags and accessories.
